Always First With What’s Next is a branded documentary series created for Snyder Diamond and Miele that explores Los Angeles food culture through the perspective of emerging chefs.

Part documentary, part product exploration, the series captures chefs in moments of experimentation—testing recipes, techniques, and new equipment as they push toward what’s next in their craft.

Each episode follows a chef through their personal process: sourcing ingredients across the city, reflecting on influences and ambition, and ultimately returning to the kitchen to cook, refine, and experiment. Miele’s appliances are integrated organically into the workflow, supporting the chefs’ process without interrupting it—present as tools, not talking points.
